Account Management Policy
This policy explains how driver accounts are managed, the rules around creating and maintaining accounts, and the process for adding team members or transferring account ownership.
1. One Driver, One Account
- Each driver account must be unique and tied to that driver's personal identifying information such as name, address, and phone number.
- Creating multiple accounts is not permitted. Duplicate or secondary accounts will be locked as soon as they are detected.
- Our support team will reach out through the original account to resolve any issues.
- If a driver is banned from the platform, that driver remains registered under the one-account rule. Opening a new account with the same identifying information is not allowed. Attempts to do so may result in a permanent ban.
2. Platform Oversight
- My Animal Transport reserves the right to suspend or permanently close any account that shows unusual, suspicious, or non-compliant activity at our discretion.
3. Accounts with Multiple Drivers
- We welcome transport businesses that grow into team operations, but to protect the safety of animals and owners, each driver on a team must pass an individual background screening.
- The primary account holder is responsible for submitting the required information for all additional drivers.
- To add a driver, contact our support team at support@myanimaltransport.com with:
- Approval to process the background check fee for each additional driver.
- The full name, email address, and phone number of each driver you are adding.
- Our screening partner will conduct the checks, and eligibility to drive on the platform will be determined by the results and at the sole discretion of My Animal Transport.
4. Transferring Account Ownership
- Driver profiles are closely tied to service history and customer feedback, which means accounts cannot be sold or transferred outside of the platform.
- Exceptions may be considered only if:
- An account is transferred between two drivers already registered on the platform, or
- A transportation business is sold outright to a third party.
- These requests are rare and will be reviewed individually. Approval rests solely with My Animal Transport.
